Tripod Trouble for Trident - Faslane Peace Camp

Activists from all over Europe dealt Trident a triple whammy at the weekend leaving MoD officials shamefaced.
Two female activists scaled the razor wire at Coulport at 3am on Saturday and proceeded to the nuclear warhead storage area, where they were discovered cutting the inner fence.
At 8am state of the art protesting tactics left police confounded as activists simultaneously blocked both entrances to the Faslane base.
At the South Gate experienced protesters erected a scaffold tripod, which was manned by a 22 year old male from Faslane Peace Camp, known only as "Si". He remained on his metal perch for five hours before being forced down by extreme cold. He was arrested and charged with Breach of the Peace along with 3 others.
Meanwhile at the North Gate, protesters crawled beneath a coach and D-locked themselves to it, preventing workers from entering the base for 90 minutes. The activists, "Sick Pup", 28, and "Fungus", 24 were arrested and charged with Breach and obstruction. Six other protesters were also arrested and released without charge.

11 arrested at Faslane after missile attack on base

Someone got nicked at Faslane Peace Camp last weekend despite being in bed. The arrest followed a weekend of anti-trident protests which left MOD officials shamefaced and confused. Workers were prevented from entering for two hours as protesters D-locked hemselves under vehicles at the North gate and simultaneously blocked the South gate with a tripod. Protesters also compromised security at the base as two activists scaled the razor wire at 3am. They were discovered cutting the inner fence to the nuclear warhead storage area as an impromptu missile attack sent fireworks exploding over the base. Eleven people were arrested and six released without charge.
