On Monday a nuclear convoy going into Coulport was stopped on the A814 by a group of eight people. Three people got on top of two of the lorries and one underneath. Then, after seven had been dragged away by the police, one more person leapt out of the bracken and on top of another lorry, where he sat and read a book until the police got him down. Altogether the convoy was stopped for 30 or 40 minutes. Two more people were arrested tracking the convoy, for being about 100 yards into the district of Stirling, which they were already bailed out of. Everyone was released the same night except Anna, Marjan and Frances who were held in Stirling for court the next day and then released.
