McSpotlight is constructed by the McInformation Network, an independent network of volunteers working from 16 countries. It opened for non-business in Feb 1996 and now gets well over a million hits a month.

- The Adbusters Media Foundation are a global network of artists, activists, writers, pranksters, students, educators and entrepreneurs who want to advance the new social activist movement of the information age. Their aim is to topple existing power structures and forge a major shift in the way we will live in the 21st century. To this end, Adbusters Media Foundation publishes Adbusters magazine, operates this website and offers its creative services through PowerShift, our advocacy advertising agency.
- Peoples' Global Action
- From the 23rd to the 25th of February 1998, movements from all continents met in Geneva and launched a worldwide co-ordination of resistance against the global market, a new alliance of struggle and mutual support called the Peoples´ Global Action against "Free" Trade and the World Trade Organisation (PGA). This new platform will serve as a global instrument for communication and co-ordination for all those fighting against the destruction of humanity and the planet by the global market, building up local alternatives.

- Ilisu Dam Campaign
- The Ilisu dam site will be situated on the Tigris river, just 65km upstream from the Syrian and Iraqi border. It is currently the largest planned hydropower project in Turkey. This campaign works to stop British involvement in the dam and to highlight the wider policy implications for Britain's ethical foreign policy, sustainable development and for peace and security in the region.
